Joseph Trapanese

A senior partner in the firm, Joseph Trapanese brings over 44 years of legal experience to every client engagement. Joseph is licensed to practice in all courts in the State of New Jersey, in the Federal District Court of the State of New Jersey and in the Appellate Division and Supreme Courts of the State of New Jersey. He is also licensed to practice in the United States Supreme Court.

Joseph S. Trapanese, Esq. is a 1967 graduate of Case Western Reserve University where he received his Juris Doctorate. He previously served as President of the Passaic County Bar Association and Trustee to the New Jersey Bar Association. He is a former Township Attorney for the Townships of Wayne and Little Falls, New Jersey.

 

 

 

 

Jeffrey Trapanese, Esq. Bio:

trapanese--jeffreyJeff was raised in Wayne, New Jersey. He graduated from Wayne Hills High School in 1988, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware in 1992, and a Juris Doctorate from the Jacob D. Fuchberg Law Center at Touro College in 1995.

Jeff's legal career began during his law school education, when he served as a summer Law Clerk at the law firms of Dwyer, Connell & Lisbona, Melli pi:. Wright, and also the Law Offices of Joseph S. Trapanese, Esq.. Upon his
graduation from law school, Jeff went on to serve as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Peter Ciolino, A.J.S.C., in Bergen County. After completing this Judicial Clerkship, Jeff became an Associate at the Law Offices of Joseph S.
Trapanese, Esq. In 1999, Jeff became a Partner and the name of the firm was changed to Trapanese & Trapanese, Esqs. Jeff's practice areas include civil litigation, probate litigation, general equity litigation, family part litigation, municipal court and limited criminal court litigation, residential and commercial property tax appeals, estate planning and administration, residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Aside from his years of service to the Passaic County Bar Association, Jeff is also a graduate of the Graduate of the Justice Robert L. Clifford American Inns of Court, former Municipal Prosecutor for Township of Little Falls, former Member of the District XI Ethics Committee, former Supreme Court of New Jersey appointee to serve on the Office o.f Attorney Ethics Volunteer III Project, former Volunteer for the Guardianship Monitoring Pilot Program in Passaic County, current Member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, current Member of the Morris County Bar Association, and Volunteer Mediator for the Passaic County Special Civil Part and Chancery Division.
